Este fin de semana fue la noche más grande para The Cure en mucho tiempo: festejaron cuarenta años de carrera en el mítico Hyde Park de Londres, esto bajo el festival British Summer Time donde Interpol estuvo como acto primero presentando Murauder.
Bajo un fuerte calor en la ciudad, The Cure tocó su segundo y último show del año en Europa, el primero fue en el festival donde Robert Smith es quien hizo la curaduría de bandas, Robert Smith’s Meltdown Festival.
